What is Natural Weight-Loss?
Natural weight loss means reaching a healthy weight without surgery, dangerous medication or packaged diet foods. It means returning to the weight you want to be or should be in a way that leaves you in control and allows you to maintain that healthier weight.

Many adults recognize they are overweight but feel helpless to change. They may have been victimized by ineffective diets, dangerous pills or food-sales programs. This natural weight-loss program has helped many people people who have felt hopeless after trying other approaches. They discovered that they were not failures, It was the plan they had followed that was the failure !

Theoretically, anyone can lose weight on most diets. Unfortunately, this is usually true only if you are a rat in a cage. When you try to follow ineffective diets where you have free-will, you may be constantly hungry and find it impossible to lose weight. Such ineffective attempts to lose weight may have left you feeling trapped or discouraged. This program puts you back in control. It teaches you dietary methods that do not leave you hungry, without packaged diet foods, supplements or similar products.

These methods for weight-loss can be first attributed to Hippocrates, the famous ancient Greek physician, over 2,400 years ago. Over time, they became overlooked and almost forgotten. In the late 1800s, Dr. Wilhelm Ebstein, a famous and respected German physician developed the same methods based upon physiologic principles and recognized that credit was due to Hippocrates for its original development. Ebstein's diet was well known and respected but knowledge of it was sidelined during the wars and hatred that gripped Europe for part of the 20th century. More recently, Dr. Irving Cohen, an American physician, developed a computer model to optimize a weight-reduction diet. It extended earlier research to the physiology of weight-loss. When Dr. Cohen searched for precedents to the method recommended by his computer model, he learned of the pioneering work done earlier by both Hippocrates and Ebstein.

Although similar to both of these earlier recommendations, Dr. Cohen's diet had to go further. Changes in the way food is prepared and eaten have worsened a growing world-wide crisis in the 21st century. The current obsity epidemic has been worsened by bad information from the government and by the chemical manipulation of our food supply as a marketing practice of multi-national food processing companies.

Dr. Cohen's New Hippocratic Diet tm Guide provides a practical way to deal with these issues. His diet has helped many with weight problems ranging from mildly overweight to extremely obese with sever medical complications.
